Uganda is ranked among the best destinations to visit - in the whole world. While this extremely high position is greatly led on by the Mountain gorillas in Bwindi and Mgahinga National Parks, Uganda was a tourist favourite even before anyone started travelling to see gorillas.

Its nickname - The Pearl Of Africa, was given by Sir Winston Churchhill of the United Kingdom, and Queen Elizabeth National Park is a holds old and fond for the British Royal family.

Whether you want to hike and climb the toughest mountains, see gorillas, watch the wild animals or experience the various local cultures - there is plenty for anyone to do in Uganda. The landscape and scenery is as varied as the many subcultures but they all equally work together to give what can only be described as 'Ugandan'
