Detailed Trip Plan
Day 1: Welcome To Zanzibar
Airport picks up transfer to Stone town hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Explore Stone Town, Visit Local Market
After breakfast, Stone town tour, a historical walk-through narrow street of Stone Town and sightseeing of exceptional Zanzibar doors, former slave market in the Anglican Church, Palace Museum with Princess Salme Room, Old Fort, the local market and a lot of other points of interest.
In the afternoon you will have lunch at Lukmaan local restaurant to test a variety of Swahili dishes. Late evening your guide will pick you up for dinner at Forodhani food market where before dinner you can experience sunset in the Indian Ocean and enjoy your dinner to feel you are in Zanzibar then back to the hotel overnight.
Day 3: Explore Prison Island, Open Afternoon
After breakfast, your guide will pick you from hotel you will sail to Changuu Island also known as Prison Island. The Island once used to keep trouble makers people but now is a home of small animals including beautiful birds like peacok and giant tortoise aged to 200 years.
You can also do swimming and snorkeling around the Island as this area is free fishing zone with plenty of fish and beautiful coral. This excursion is a half day trip. During lunch time you will sail back to stone town and Local restaurant for your lunch before heading back to your hotel in Stone Town for relaxation.
Day 4: Zanzibar Spice Tour
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to a spice tour, visiting spice farm to see different spices including the legendary cloves, vanilla, paper, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and exotic fruits.
Picnic lunch in the heart of the farm, taste tropical fruits and spicy food. Later you will proceed to your beach hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Mnemba Island, Sunset Cruise
Morning picks up for the Mnemba tour and sunset cruise. This is a full-day tour where you will do snorkelling along Mnemba Island with high coral and fish view in the Indian Ocean.
During lunchtime, you will be served barbeque lunch along the beach and sail back for relaxation.
In the evening you will board a boat and sail back for a romantic sunset cruise. Late evening you will be picked up back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Departure
Transfer to the airport for departure
