Lusaka National Park is located southeast of the city of Lusaka - Zambia's capital city. It is Zambia's smallest and newest national park and officially opened in 2015. The park was established over a previous forest reserve and is entirely enclosed by a fence.
Lusaka National Park is close to the capital city and is a great retreat from the busy city life - while being near enough to work and city life.
This small park is a great addition to a bigger tour of Zambia that includes other attractions. It is also good for people who are only in Zambia for a very short time (business) and want to see some wildlife.

When To Visit

Getting There
Lusaka National Park is very easy to access. The park is located around 30 kilometres southeast of Lusaka's Central Business District. The drive should take you less than 45 minutes to reach the park offices.
