Kibira National Park, Burundi

Kibira National park is located in northwestern Burundi. The park borders Nyungwe National Park which is located on Rwanda Southwestern border with Burundi.

Kibira NP covers 4 provinces and lies on to of the Congo-Nile divide - which seperates Africa's biggest drainage systems - the Congo and Nile river systems. Like Nyungwe, Kibira National Park is a natural habitat for Chimpanzees and is a great destination for seeing chimps in the wild while you are visiting in Burundi.
